      Kino and Juana lived in a poor fishing village, and they had a baby boy named Coyotito.      One day, Kino was looking for pearls in the sea to pay for Coyotito, who had been bitten by a large scorpion. He found an unprecedentedly large pearl. Fortunately, the future of the Kino family should have been bright.  He went to a dealer in town to sell pearls, but he was told that it was too big and worthless, and he took it home again.      On that night, someone sneaks into Kino's house for the pearl and stabs him to death at the end of the fight.      This story seems to be happy and fortunate story at first glance, but it is not. On the contrary, all the bad things happen just as the pearls brought bad luck. I feel a little sad.       People who stayed in a mansion tell a ghost story one by one like a hundred stories. The title "The turn of the screw" is taken from the line "I want to hear a sophisticated story".      One of them begins to read the story of a letter from a woman who was once her tutor. She is asked by a person to live in a tutor in his mansion. In the mansion, which should have only the owner's nephew and niece, as well as a housekeeper and a servant, she sees an unidentified man shortly after taking office. It was the beginning of a horrifying experience.      When I read this story at first, I thought this is interesting and such stories don't exist in Japan. My favorite scene is last, a tutor fought with a ghost for a young boy.       He has a gentle and kind personality and has loved animals since he was young. After he married to his wife, who loves animals, he has kept a wide variety of animals. Their clever and beautiful black cat Pluto, was his favorite. However, after a while, he drowned in alcohol and have temper tantrum. When he was in a bad mood, he started hitting his wife and abusing animals.        Nevertheless, he didn't strike his favorite Pluto. However, one day, when he was bitten by Pluto when he handled it roughly, he scraped off one eye of Pluto.  Pluto eventually recovered, but Pluto began to avoid him as any other animal do. At first he was sad because Pluto avoided him, but eventually his feelings were filled with tantrums.        Finally, he hung a rope around Pluto's neck and hung it on a tree to kill him.
