Don't Stop Now!

Outline

Matt worked in London and take drinks to shop and cafes. He was taking a break at his favorite internet cafe today. This cafe is located in Soho, London, so many foreign tourists visit every day. This cafe was run by Paolo and his daughter Kate. Even though it's an internet cafe, they bake pizza every day for some reason and deliver it to many houses.

One day Matt was relaxing with a cup of coffee, and suddenly a big stone was thrown from the outside and the glass at the entrance broke. Some letter was tied to the stone with a string.

Kate decided to deliver the pizza because her dad would clean up the store. Matt had a weekly judo practice day, but ended up with Kate's delivery. Kate asks Matt to go with her. Matt asks about the contents of the letter about the stone, but she can't tell that it's a family problem.

When Kate stood at the front door of the second house from the end, Matt tried to open the last box of pizza. It wasn't a pizza, it contained a small black machine that he'd never seen before. Kate went to deliver the special pizza with a melancholy look on her face. She went inside without giving it at the front door. After five minutes she didn't come out, so Matt got off the bike and walked towards the office. Then she came out. She had a pizza box in her arm and a man in a long coat closed the door. She said, "They didn't want the pizza. It was cold. Come on. We're going back to the cafe." Returning to the cafe, Matt went to the kitchen to tell Paolo they're  back . There was him shouting on the phone and Kate with a white face. Paolo was angry over the phone with his face bright red. When I asked if I could help, he asked him to go home because it was a family problem. Kate tells Paolo that Matt went for delivery with her. Kate said she would tell him everything if he came to see them tomorrow at 9p.m.

When Matt went to see him the next night at 9 p.m, Paolo greeted him with his white face and red eyes. And he talked with Kate last night and talked about the beginning of the matter. Two men from Malta, Antonio and Victor Vassallo, were acquaintances of Paolo a few years ago, and Paolo was asked to help them two months ago for 3 weeks. The black machine in the pizza box was a credit card paying machine that stole the number. It was a three weeks promise, but Paolo helped for more three weeks. When Paolo said "I want to stop, go to the police.", they kissed him. The kiss of death is said to mean in Malta, "Follow what we say, or someone in the family will die."

At that time, they heard the sound of Kate's motorcycle and went out. There was a tall man with a long coat instead of Kate. He said, "Follow what I say, your daughter is hostage. Tomorrow we will be back in Malta. Then your daughter will be released." He put the machine in a new box now and instructed him to hand it over tomorrow night. After the man left, Matt said he would go tonight instead of tomorrow and went to Kate and where he was heading for delivery. Antonio was outside, and Matt beat him with a helmet and then used judo to defeat him. When he passed through Victor's eyes and entered the room, there was Kate sitting in a chair and having her limbs tied up. When Matt tries to approach Kate, Antonio hit him in a chair from behind and fainted.

When Matt wakes up, he is asked if he is the police. Kate answered he is a friend. Antonio said he had stolen foreign customers' card numbers in various cities such as Malta, Newyork and Moscow. The machine is tricking $ 50,000 a day, and they'll leave before many tourist notice it. Victor told Antonio that it was time to go, poured the contents of the bottle everywhere and lit it with a lighter. At that time, Paolo rushed in by Matt's truck. At that time, he ran over Antonio so he fainted, and hit Victor with a bottle when he tried to kill Matt with a gun. They hurriedly called the police, took them and Kate and Matt. Kate and Matt returned to the internet cafe the next day. However, Paulo went to jail for six weeks and they were put in ten years.

Until Paolo came back, Matt was helping Kate at the cafe because he didn't have a truck. The day Paolo returns, Matt thought he doesn't need it anymore and tried to leave. At that time, Kate was given a box of pizza. He says he's not hungry, but she asked him to open it and he opened the box. There was a piece of paper in it, and Matt asked what it said. Paolo said, "It's written in Maltese, 'Don't stop now! We don't want you to go. We need you here in the cafe. You are in our family now." Matt was delighted to see them, and Kate hugged and kissed Matt.

Impression

Paolo should be a kind to Kate as a family. Also, he should consider Matt to be a member of family when he rushed in the room. I thought  Matt is good-natured person even if he liked Kate. They strengthened their family ties enough, they could be like a real family.
